American education has become woefully obsolete. It no longer serves the countries needs, resulting in great disharmony among groups and individuals.
Children are our Future
Better Education can bring us together as a Nation United, stronger than ever before. We must focus more to teach all of our children how to be stronger and productive citizens according to their individual abilities, with humility, empathy, and respect for the other.
The security and strength of America depends upon the quality of all of its citizens. This starts with superior early education, designed to result in balanced and confident adults. [Parents will be involved at the youngest practical ages].
Education should begin at the earliest years with the goal of teaching all the basic skills needed by a grown-up person who lives in harmony and respect with his neighbors. The child will thus have basic communication skills with empathy and respect for our differences. Gaining knowledge through active questioning will be encouraged. The child with an active curiosity and asking more questions will progress the fastest and will thus be prepared to smoothly handle challenges as they enter their adult world.
We no longer need to require certain math, science, and language topics for all college-prep students. We need to focus on enhancing the natural skills of the individual student so they can find their place as productive citizens, even in the arts and sports. No child will be left out; Crime will diminish; Prisons will be for rehabilitation back into society as full citizens, not felons.
Better Education Pays Dividends
Marriage, parenting, and interpersonal relationships must be included in a balanced education along with financial and home ownership issues, plus political knowledge and participation.
Apprenticeship programs in the trades are essential for high school students to explore and develop practical skills. College is not suitable for all successful adults. Life-long learning will be expected for everyone. Learning and solving problems are life’s greatest joys.
Sensitivity awareness is essential for the maturing student to “Know Thyself“ on the pathway to maturity.
Grades k-12 are most essential.
How many high school grads wish they had been better schooled in the forgoing topics?
A proper education will lead to stronger families who actually know and respect each other with love and empathy. Their communication skills will bring people together. They will know the power of asking questions and advancing faster. Knowledge and confidence will be gained as barriers fall.
Imagine the potential that a more adult population of citizens and voters can bring to this world !!!
